Hi Paige,
ReplyDeleteI'm here to comment on your review for Vocaroo. I started using Vocaroo this year and I love it! Although it's simple, sometimes, it works the best because there's no difficult process in learning how to use it. I agree with you that the simplicity does have its limitations because we can't edit the audio. Despite this fact, I still use it for some my blog posts and it really saves some time from having to type up essays and responses! I love this tool and thank you for sharing it!
Hi Paige, I really enjoyed reviewing your Animoto screen cast and really learned a lot! I have used this application once before while creating a get to know me video for our introduction page blog. I agree with you that it was a little frustrating getting through the whole process and seeing the water marks there. A fellow classmates, Jessica, said that there is a free 6 month premium trial for educators! Selfishly, however, I want to save this 6 month trail for when I can create a lesson in my classroom haha. I agree that the wait time and lag within the website was frustrating. I could also imagine students, if they utilized this tool, becoming impatient in with the lag, which could ignite management problems for us. Thank you again for this video!
ReplyDeleteHi Paige,
ReplyDeleteVocaroo looks like a really nice, simple recording tool. I really like that it is Web-based, rather than having to download it. This allows for accessibility from any device. I can see a lot of uses for this, especially for creating multimedia teaching tools. Combining this with a good video tool helps make a well-rounded presentation or facilitation tool. I have added this to my bookmarks to try during future creations. Thank you for all the information, and for your assessment.
Hi Paige,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your video review on Vocaroo. I think this is a great option for students and teachers to use. The fact that it does not require a login makes it very useful for students who do not have to remember a username or password to access it. It seems so simple to use that teachers should have no problem using it. It is a tool that is simple to use and can be accessed at almost any time with the help of smart phones.
